October 12, 2009 - Namche Bazar - Base camp
After a few days in the rain, we reached the 'base camp'. As the sherpas built it up a bit too low it was quite clear what we had to do now. Postpone everything up to 5200m, where is 30cm of snow. But we are in a good mood and astonished by the look of that beautiful mountain Jasemba!
The planed route looks possible, at least from down here. The coming few days we will be spending with acclimatizing and studying the descent because if we really should make it to the top then we also need to come down somehow. The weather is and stays good for the next days. The conditions are looking good.
